Shri Dinesh Singh Dhanik holds a Master’s degree (MA) and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB). He began his career in public service in 1992 at an attached office of the Ministry of Home Affairs. In 2011, he joined the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), where he currently serves as Deputy Advisor.
With over 33 years of experience, Shri Dhanik has developed expertise across administration, establishment, recruitment, promotion, procurement, budgeting, legal affairs, disciplinary matters, media relations, protocol, accounts, implementation of the official language policy and the management of domestic and international events, conferences and foreign visits. He has a strong record of supporting institutional development and leading digital transformation initiatives.
On 30th December 2025, Shri Dhanik assumed the role of Director (Administration) at the Tribunal on deputation, continuing his commitment to excellence in public administration.
