APPELLATE TRIBUNAL FOR ELECTRICITY

APTEL library has acquired a collection  of legal books and various other resources  for reading and reference purposes of readers. Library is a specialized section which looks after procurement of legal books, Journals and other sources of information including  Online services.  Advocates and law researches can find the resources such as books, magazines, periodicals on power as well as bare Acts. and Electricity Act 2003.  Library books can be searched online through cloud based software   e-Granthalaya which has an OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue) facility for fast searching of library documents.  So far APTEL library collected more than 2,000 books, Reports, Digest, bound Journals like AIR and ELR. Tariff Orders and Regulations related to Electricity and PNG are also acquired for readers.  

Members may use the ‘ Recommendation Slip ‘ kept at the Library Counter for suggesting to purchase of new books or journals.  If a book suggested by a member is approved by the Library Committee, the Member is informed as soon as the book is acquired.
